After a year of patiently waiting for borders to open, Dan Egan took a trip across the Atlantic to tour his book Thirty Years in a White Haze, prepare for some exciting upcoming projects, and attend the National Snow Show in Birmingham.
Outdoor clothing and local equipment shop, Ellis Brigham hosted a signing in Manchester and a signing in London and Ski Club Great Britain hosted an event at the White Haus for an intimate evening of Q&A, book signing, and talking about the season to come.
Dan also got to meet Kimberely Kay Robinson of Inspire by Kim, who drew many of the custom illustrations in the book. Check out Kim’s latest book Ski A to Z!
Thank you to everyone who helped put together these events and to those of our British friends who came to see Dan and get a copy of the book!

“I met Dan in high school in Boston, USA where we raced against each other on Blue Hill, the biggest mountain in the area at 94m!! Dan went on to star in 30 or 40 adventure films shot all over the world for Warren Miller, The North Face, and many other big names in the 1980’s and 90’s. He also became a movie producer himself. His movies became popular, as much for their names, as for their gripping footage : Return of the Shredi and Where the Steeps Have No Name to name just a couple.
